QuoteReplyTopic: Hair Color Help? Posted: July 17 2009 at 9:38am
Need some advice.... currently have multi-color hair, and not on purpose!
Permed hair 5 weeks ago; it became really light so I colored with Loreal Cherry Chocolate Mousse color - only lasted a week. 2 weeks ago I colored with Loreal Truffle with highlights. It has also faded really bad. Now I have mouse brown hair in the back, bangs with a brassy red tint, and golden highlights - YUCK!
Want to have an all over chocolate brown. What do I do to have everything come out the same color and fad as one color? Should I use a protein filler first? (Also, no more over the counter color - going to use Goldwell).
Thoughts??

Sounds as if you have very porous hair, through all those chemically treatments, especially perming. You could try using a filler first then apply your colour, this should make the colour grab on better to the hair, with out too much fade. I would also recommend you give your hair a good long rest from chemically treatments, and give your hair lots of care and attention through deep conditioning treatment. This will help get your hair back to a good condition.
