I don't understand why Lindsay has to be all-or-nothing with her hair colour. When she goes blonde, she should be heavily highlighted NOT overall blonde because it washes her out. When she goes dark, she should be heavily lowlighted, so it's not just 'black' or 'brown' but multi-dimensional.

Oh come on, there's worse out there. Plenty of regular girls have the same shade (granted she's not a regular girl...) wonder how much of the hair is actually hers though.
I agree. Skin tone on redheads is naturally set to match. Blonde is typically a good transition. With the black hair... Lindsay has a Dita Von Teese thing going on. Her skin tone is naturally too light.
