I have light blonde hair with dark brown roots, very dark. I get a full head of highlights at the salon which I like but it's time consuming and expensive.
 
Is there anyway I'd ever be able to do my own roots at home? I wish I could just use a dye! If only my roots were lighter :(. Any tips or suggestions, please?
