Yes, the Aura shampoo (from Sally Beauty) is good stuff. If you're going to Sally, I can also recommend Nature's Therapy by Loreal, the yellow Mega Moisture shampoo. It's also a favorite around here, from what I've read. I would recommend most ANY shampoo, either from the salon or drugstore that doesn't contain sodium lauryl sulfate, TEA-lauryl/laureth sulfate or one of the other potentially drying surfactant cleansers (this will become clear when I send you the ingredient list.) If your mom is trying to keep her hair color bright, the best thing she can do is use a gentle shampoo, regardless whether it claims to be specifically for dyed hair. The fewer shampoos per week, the better. And if she can keep her hair covered while outside for extended periods of time, the color molecules won't break down as fast either.
