Hi i have family going away soon and im lookign to get some shampoo's and conditioner's and anything good for my hair really. i can never find these things down here so im really trying to get as much as i can. No i have colour treated hair, my hair is medium thickness, the hairdresser told me i have course hair but it isnt dry if that makes n e sense. In my opinion my hair is pretty soft jus the ends are a little dry but coconut oil is really helping them and they feel great. I was wondering if redken all soft wud be fine for my colour treated hair. i heard it works wonderful and i am not a regular hair dyer it is just once in a while so would it be fine to get the redken all soft? what leave ins or n e good hair products would u recommend. thanks you soo much for all of your help. Katrianna
Hi K, how are you? Is that you in your icon? If so, you're very pretty! We have a regular Cult of All Soft here comprised of a bunch of us who love that particular Redken line. You might really like it if you give it a try (is it available down there?) It has a wonderful scent and moisturizes without weighing hair down. It is still one of my favorite brands! Talk to you later

hi yes it is me. thank you very much . I live in Trinidad it's in the caribbean off the coast of venezuela. We don't have a large selection of shampoos so though i saw the redken all soft line it was twice the price u have it for up there. the litre bottle down here coasts approx. 56 us so it is really alott of money. Would u suggest i get the shampoo, conditioner and heavy cream? should i purchase any leave-ins or anything? and besides the all soft (which i am very excited to get because of hearing yall talk bout it) is there any other shampoo/conditioner i should try to purchase even any good moisturisers. Thanks very much for the reply. Katrianna
Holy cow that's a lot of money! Could you buy it online from a reputable salon in the U.S. and have it sent there? Even with shipping it might be cheaper. Let me ask, what brands ARE available in Trinidad? That might make it easier to suggest some good products!

hmm they have the vive collection by loreal(doesn't do anything magnficant for my hair), garnier fructis(this dried out my hair like crazy),ic products, vo5 advanced which is the dark green bottles, normal vo5,optimum care,got2b, got2b so smooth, pantene (which i know is terrible), parnevu t-tree shampoos, i think i saw one called allways, avon, soft and beautiful, sedal, paul mitchelle, herbal essences, zero frizz, some sebastian , umm this huge bottle that says yellow i heard u refer to it that it was good!? i think that's pretty much it. It is cheaper for me to ask my family to bring it down for me with them, shipping etc maybe too much my father would kill me cause of the wieght and he wudn't pay soo much money for a shampoo for my hair. on ur post on eopinions u said how u could get a cheaper shampoo which does the same thing do u have any name u could give me? oh i'm only 15 so i can't afford to pay for these things on my own! thank again Katrianna
U had sent me ur ingredient list a while ago so i kind of know what to look out for in terms of what is gud or not but im not that great of a label reader, i just check the sodium lauryl/laurerth content mainly, so now i only by shampoos with sodium laureth, i know some good condiontioning agents etc. but i still am not a great label reader.
Of the brands you listed, Paul Mitchell offers the best selection (in my experience) and isn't terribly expensive. But All Soft is still my personal favorite, if you can get it!

paul mitchelle is still kind of expensive, but my grandmother is going to get it she left for miami today. so hopefully this time next week i'll be using redken all soft and my hair will be feeling fabulous. i stick to mainly using cheap shampoos with sodium laureth cause my father wouldn't spend alot of money on shampoo! do i rely on deep condtioning hmm wondering. i dyed my hair few days ago and it is alot lighter than my dark brown hair in my opinion. i was wondering wat products cud i use in it to moitsurize it but not make my hair colour look darker and oily, if u understand what i mean. thanks alot for all ur help! :)
well it looks like diff colours at diff times sumtimes it looks light brown to me (which i love i wanted that colour forever) sumtimes it looked orange according to myfriend and then in the sun it was looking blonde. i luv the brown i haven't seen the orange so once i don't im happy. i just haven't found gud moisturizers unfortunately. i just deep condition my hair then when im done i rinse and put a little on the ends and that helps alot and doesn't darker my colour and make it look dirty. sorry i took soo long to reply i went down the islands as we call it for the weekend. my hair got even lighter but oh well! im kinda bothered that my eyebrows are too dark but i don't want to spend any more money in a salon i have had enough!
i got the redken all soft i used it for the first time yesterday and though my hair is soo slipery that i can barely but it in a pony tail im not sure if i acctually like it cause mye ends feel the same as before.. any tips on what to do to benefit most from this shampoo?
hi now im just informing u that i am soo pleased with the redken all soft i don't use it as my regular shampoo however i alternate with this other shampoo called sedal. though my ends look dry the feel wonderful i haven't been happier with my hair ever thanks soo much for the recommendation i am overjoyed about my hair. n e wayz gots to go thanks alot once again bye
