Can anyone tell me why it is so important to use certain shampoo/conditioners & styling products on extensions?  I bought the products that my stylist recommended, but tonight I was comparing the ingredients from my old shampoo (Frederic Fekkai) to the new one & their doesn't seem to be much difference.  Thanks!

Well, extensions have generally been over processed so most of the styling products for extensions have more moisturizers, deep penetrating conditioners, silicone agents and silkening agents. I would only recommend a sulfate-free shampoo, a mayonnaise type of conditioner and BioSilk Silk Therapy on the hair.
