Ok, so I want to go white/blonde, and my hair was a dark red.
Last monday I colour removed my hair twice and yesterday I bleached it, It's a pale yellow/orange at the roots and i normally brush it with conditioner in, but alot more than usually is coming out. (It only seems to be coming out when it's wet, when dry it's fine) I used a 40 volume developer and than read that shouldn't be used. My mums telling me to just get a natural colour and not to bleach it anymore but my plan was to bleach it again to a pale yellow then get a toner, but I don't want my hair falling out as it's quite long :( So i really don't know what to do? (I can't afford hairdressers) can anyone give me any advice on what to do? Thankyou.

Hopefully an expert will comment to you. I'm not an expert but it sounds like you will be doing damage to your hair. I'm afraid I would go with your mom's advice.

You might try Clairol's Natural Instincts in A light Champagne. Probably take on your yellow colour. After, condition, condition, condition. Then when you need to do your roots you could try and bleach to the pale yellow you need to tone your hair that light. Use 20 volume to bleach.
