Hair color advice! (pictures included)

(My hair color ATM)

I have been bored with my present (natural) hair color for awhile (it is just too bland and bleh) and I am really up for a change. I think I should go darker.

Could I pull off this auburn shade of brunette? I really loved Carrie as a brunette in the SATC movie. I was thinking that same shade but perhaps more chocolate brown?

Last year I died my hair dark, dark brunette and I liked it (but it eventually faded)



What do you think I should do ? thanks!
