Guessing Medium Ash Brown? level 3-4 Idk? If it is your hair you can go to the swatches in a beauty supply hold them up to your hair in the mirror & see or get a consultation? Are there red violet hues in there or is it natural? Highlights or Any Gray Bits? Check at the very ROOT in the deepest color part of your hair if possible (if this is you)

Good point. Depends on contributing pigment chart or which brand using to describe..even Hair color comparison charts will describe something differently & the above.
