i'm wanting to dye my hair but every time i've dyed it a lighter blonde my hair turns a brassy orang-ish color, how can i avoid that? i have heard that the dyes that are blonde ash are good for that but i'm still unsure.

I think ot is better for you to try a gloden brown highlights to avoid brassy orangish color.

Any "ash" color will help tone down the orange/brassy tone. When lightening your hair, use an ash color/lightener. If that still leaves brassy tones, use another color (deposit only) with ashy tones. This will not darken your hair, only tone down the brass.
