And how do you remove the glue if you mess up during the application process?

Generally, fusion extensions can last about 4-6 months however it depends on how properly they are installed, how they are cared for and how quickly your hair grows.
 
If you happen to mess up during an application, you might need the glue remover to dissolve the glue. Please note that the remover you will need (oils based or acetone based) depends on the type of glue used. Or, if you are using a hot fusion tool, you can use the tip to melt the glue and remove it before it cools.
