Bad Salon Hair Color Experience

Hi - I have blonde hair and asked my stylist if she could give me a copper blonde base with some golden highlights....NOT. I even showed her a couple pictures of the color.  I now have dark ash blonde hair and I can barely see any blond hightlights at all!!  I really didn't expect to get mousy blond hair that cost 200.00 plus 40.00 tip.  She said I could come back in a week to have it fixed?  Can I put some more blond into this dark color?  I was a natural blond as a kid, but now with age it is more of a ash blond color with some grey.
