I see your really up on all the products and ingrediences, so I would like to ask you: They sell a oil for hair there called "Hair Growth Oil". (Smells terrible) but it actually seems to have alot of good stuff in it. I now apply Jojoba oil instead of gel to improve the texture and help repair my damaged/dry highlighted hair. It seems to contain:Wheat products/soy/Vitinam B/Silk Protein, etc. Any comment? Thanks

Hi there! I hope I can help you a little bit (also, I've got a rather extensive ingredient list if you'd like me to email it to you--I find it to be enormously valuable.) The product you describe certainly won't repair hair (nothing can rejuventate dead cells, which is exactly what hair is) but it can certainly lubricate and thus protect your hair from wear 'n tear-related damage.

Jojoba works like other hair oils by coating the hair shaft and imparting a healthy look and shine. The biggest difference between various oils isn't necessarily the impact it has on hair (dead cells can't tell the difference between grapeseed/safflower/jojoba/etc.) but the consistency of the oil itself and the way it feels on your hair. Anyone with fine hair who has slathered on some good ol' olive oil knows what I'm talking about!

That said, your product looks like it's a fine one for keeping your hair looking healthy. I wish you luck and I hope this helps! :-)

Thanks Lyris. Is the list you were talking about the "All About Hair Glossary" that you had previously wrote about in another posting? I have that one, its a great listing and goes into detail about hair ingredients. Thank you for that post too. . . . But if thats not it, send on over what else you have that can be helpful. . .
