Hi everybody,
I am a male (27) with (at the moment) growing, (normally) medium, straight, not anymore coloured hair and I beg you to help me with finding the right treatment for it.
The last half a year, I used to colour my hair very often, until it became as weak as never before: I lost about 20-30 hairs visibly with every wash and another 10-20 with every styling together with another 20-30 visibly over the day (sometimes only when I ran my hand through my hair) until I couldn't stand that anymore and cutted my hair to 0,1 inches. I then used REDKEN Vivagen (Shampoo and Treatment), which really worked for me, although I think it also would have gotten better even without the stuff. Now - 2 month later - I started to let my hair grow again (I always wanted to achieve about 10 inches length). I lose much less hair (about 10-15 vivibly over the day including wash etc.), although there are still some areas on my head with very light - almost white - and much thinner hair than my "normal" hair on it... I think, these are still growing at the moment, ... could this be?
My problem is, which treatment I should use for my hair during the next time (while it grows). I am really into REDKEN, and I thought about combining several REDKEN-series, e.g. REDKENs Smooth Down Shampoo + Conditioner + sometimes Extreme CAT Treatment + sometimes Vivagen treatment). Is this a good idea to combine the series in this way or is it better to stay to only one series all the time? Please give me any advice to calm me and my hair down. ;-)
You can combine Redken however you like , nothing in the line is going to prevent any product from not working. Sometimes it takes damaged thinning areas months to recover. Remember the average person loses 75-150 hairs a day.
