I have thick wavy hair and I want some curl to it. I was thinking of buying that curl defining shampoo and mabey some kind of curl styling spray, whould that help or just do nothing?

I've never tried to curl myself, but from what I've heard, all those things do is stiffen the hair so that any curls you put in, stay in. If that's wrong, I'm sure someone will correct it, but I'm pretty sure you'd still have to put in the effort of making the curls yourself, and just use products to help keep them.
