WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG???????? Big%20smile  I have very, very curly hair.  It's fine, but almost ethnically curly.  I'm jewish & it's a pretty common texture for us.

Anyway, I've been playing around with extensions for years.  Tried Hairlocs, Socap, & in a fit of frustration spent a bundle on Great Lengths.  None of them got the curl right.  It always looked like it matched after it was installed, but after I'd shampoo the curl would loosen & look ridiculous.

So I finally took the plunge & went to a multicultural salon that services mostly AAs & Brazilians.  I am so glad I did!  Not only is the cost about half of Socap & 1/3 of GL, the hair is PERFECT.  It matches beautifully.  The quality is excellent (Socap & Dreamcatchers is like total garbage in comparison).  AND they said the hair was still virgin b/c the curl is boiled into it without chemicals so no perms at all. Smile

The only downside is it was really itchy for the first couple of weeks, but I can live with that for my beautiful long hair. Wink

Just thought I'd share for other curly girls who've experienced the same frustration & wasted a ton of money like I have.  Weaves are awesome! Clap

Sometimes, clients with very curly hair find that going to a more "ethnic" salon or stylist is the best option. The same thing applies for African American's who wish to lift their hair to blonder shades,....sometimes the "caucasian" salons are a better fit.

So happy you were able to find a salon that could give you what you were looking for! Yay!!!! Pictures please,...
