Curls, Curls, Curls! What to do with them?

I have hair that is about 4-5 inches past waist length and I'm chopping it all off.  Probably to a buzzcut that I will grow out into a pixie or possibly just going for a pixie straight off.  Or I will do an undercut or mohawk and leave the top 4-5 inches so that I have something left.  My question for you guys is, I am not a skinny girl by any means, but I'm not gargantuan either.  Does super short hair look awful on cubby ladies?  Can you give me a clue as to what to do with short curls?  Here's a picture of what I'm cutting.

I'm selling my hair, and it grows pretty fast.  So a buzzcut is really only that for a very short while unless it's maintained.

I would go for the pixie cut...as HAWG said, get it cut right...a pixie with curly or wavy hair can look awesome - the texture of the hair works well...think of haley berry.  The height left on top will help you look taller, hence leaner looking.Good Luck

Here it is, the end result! Way shorter than I thought initally, but I love it.

Thanks Orange :)  It's nice to hear something positive, so far no one IRL has been positive except for my husband.  I don't care a lot about what other people think, it would be nice to hear something at least polite.  But anyway, Thanks for all the compliments they are appreicated.

It's been a while, just wanted to stop by and thank everyone again for the advice. Now I'm sporting an undercut and the top has grown out to about 4-5 inches. Honestly, there are days it looks like I have just stepped out of the 80's. Most days it cooperates enough to look decent, though. Anyway, thanks again!
