Going Rogue: Actresses Who Shaved Their Heads

I forgot about Robin Tunney.  That was quite a look on her.

Did you catch NBC's The Voice?  Two of the women finalists had shaved heads on Christina Aguilera's team.  Neither was The Voice, but the guy who did win also had a shaved head. 

There definitely are some advantages such as limited time required to style hair...since there isn't any.  And of course no need to buy a lot of products, hot tools or even accessories.

Disadvantages?  A friend of mine shaved her head for the look and she was shocked how cold her head felt, how sensitive it was to bed linens and how easily it would get dry skin that would peel. 

Even though she liked the look, all the other stuff caused her to grow her hair back.

Would love to know how Demi felt about her shaved head.  I still think her head shaving scene in GI Jane is the best ever.

Robin Tunney shaved her head in "Empire Records" and she did it herself on camera.  She started with scissors and finished it off with clippers without a guard; nice sceen.  I can remember Demi on Jay Leno after GI Jane was through filming; in the movie, she clipper shaved her head; for the Tonight Show, she went all the way.  It's interesting that so many women have shaved their heads for movies; I saw an article the other day that resurrected the impending head shave of Halle Berry; that one should be interesting also.

While I wouldn't say it's their best look, I think both Demi and Natalie still looked great with a shaved head. Demi's hair long is pretty awesome but she can pull off short and even buzzed. There are a number of pictures out their of Natalie with her buzz after V for Vendetta. She still manages to looks very feminine and pretty in both casual and formal wear. I really liked it when it got to pixie length.
