Hello All!
It has been a really long time since I've posted but glad to be back.

I just recently got my Cosmo license (yea! Smile) and I was just wondering what hair the professionals prefer for use on their clients?

I plan on taking the Great Lengths certification class as soon as bugeting allows but until then, I'd like to find something that I can start using now without getting certified with any particular company.

Any suggestions or comments are appreciated.

Thanks a bunch!

Congrats on getting your Cosmo license.  What a great accomplishment after so much hard work.

Although a lot of cosmos love Great Lengths because it's a complete system, there are lots of them out there that are also really good including SoCap USA.

Meanwhile, you can get good quality hair from a wide range of sources such as the large beauty supply companies.  Even Sally Beauty has some decent hair - both human and synthetic.

While its nice to buy into a system so that you can get training and buy great hair, there are some companies that will sell you the hair w/out requiring you take classes.

There are a lot of people who visit this forum who will have lots of great suggestions for you.  I hope some of them post their thoughts.

My own hairstylist uses both Great Lengths and SoCap.  So I guess its ok to use multiple "hair systems" at one time?

Congrats! We carry our Doctored Locks and Bliss brand of prebonded hair. Both are great, and no certificate required! You can also get a discount when you fill out you licensing information!

Thanks for all the responses.
I guess I'm just gonna have to jump out there and spend some money to see which brands I prefer. I was kinda hoping to get a general "we like this one" type of response but I know how that goes. Everyone has their favorite. As a new stylist, I've already went through that with figuring out which color line I like so I know how it can get expensive to spend money on 10 lines before you find the ONE you like. I was hoping to avoid that. Embarrassed But, no worries, that's the name of the game.

DoctoredLocks- I tried some I-tip hair from your site many many years ago, obviously before I was licensed. I didn't know there was a discount for professionals. Good to know. Thanks. Smile If I remember right, it held up well considering I had no idea what I was doing and installed some of it as if it were U-tips, straight fusion, no links or shrinks.. hehehe.. I know better now.

Thanks again.
