Aside from taking good care of your health through adequate diet, rest and exercise... supplement with Fo Ti (ho shou wu), a Chinese herbal supplement which I first learned of 6 years ago (though I've never taken it, it is reputed to help avoid greying). Also, be sure you have enough zinc in your diet. Zinc deficiencies can lead to premature greying. Zinc is good for skin and hair. I also take Horsetail Herb for its silica, which for me helps reduce hair fallout.
So Dave, you're saying that silica in the hair will prevent fallout, but silicone on the hair makes it brittle and locks out moisture? (This is per your 'Biosilk' post.)
Make every day you have count, before the time comes for you to count every day you have.

Hi Supersugar,
Those have been my experiences, yes. As for the silica inside the system, I can't begin to guess how much of it is imparted to the hair shaft itself. I would have guessed that the stuff effects the follicle in a positive way, though now you have me thinking...
