Vanessa had the worst hair of the night at the MTV VMAs.

Did she say "Give me the Justin Bieber?"

I'm sure there are some great short styles for Vanessa, but so far I haven't seen any of them. The worst part is the (inevitable) bragging explanation from her stylist about what he was "going for" in shaping her cut. Notice he didn't say "I wanted to make it look good."

Yes, I would agree with extensions.  AT least she recognizes how horrendous she looked with that short chop.  UGH.  So much better with some length.  She does not have the right face for a super short hairstyle.

Well it was reported that she paid $1,000 for extensions in New York a few days ago.  She got Great Lengths extensions but because her natural hair was so short they could only take her to shoulder length.

Thanks for the blog nod Lilili.  I have been watching Vanessa closely and just amazed at what she's done to her hair.  She is the classic case of post-breakup hair first with the few inches chopped off and then the big home chop and then the various hairstyles to try and deal with it short. 

I feel bad for her and now she has these below-the-chin extensions.  What next?  I hope she just stops messing around and lets it grow out a bit.  Such a cute girl.

Vanessa showed up at the Spring Breakers premiere bobbed. Vanessa rocks the bob, but not my favorite for her.

Well I don’t think she looks terrible in the first picture, it isn’t as nice as her longer hairstyle but it doesn’t make her hideous or anything. It’s a lot better than Miley’s hair in my opinion.

 

I bet she regrets it now; she cut off all her beautiful hair and now has to wear someone else’s hair on her head...what a shame. But we all make mistakes hopefully she learns.

Am i in the minority here?  i think she can handle short hair, just that style is not flattering...and she didn't give enough time for people to adjust to the new, shorter look.

In some magazine today there was the news that she's taken out the extensions because her hair is now naturally at shoulder length. She said she's relieved it's finally grown out.
