Removing this black, turning it light brown?

Alright, heres the story. Ive had my hair a dark brown for years. Almost always used a semi permanent. Then decided to try for a blonde, researched a ton. and did a color oops removers. 1 or 2 full bleaches, and then like 2 more bleach baths. i ALOMST got it to that glorious yellow stage. But eventually gave up having to go to work with bright neon orange hair for a week. So. I just said screw it. and dyed it black. Been that was for a few months. and and now trying to get it back to a light brown shade. I bought a box of feria hi-lift downtown brown, and another box of color oops. Do u think that will work out for me? it says not for previously color treated hair. But the color oops should take care of that right? i know the box dye will not remove the black. Another question is. The color oops says it will make your hair absorb more color because it is so porus. But becuase this dye is a hi-lift and full of bleach will it turn out lighter, or will it still dye my hair darker? I know the box itself is meant for DARK hair, but mine will be that orangey shade after removing the color.
