I am thinking about dying my short brown hair Black, ( I am a male) I think i have fine hair, Not sure.. what are you're suggestions? I have hard water too, I am now washing my hair with rain water since it rains everyday, Or Distilled water..

I am thinking about using Herbatint Black, Any of you like or hate this stuff?

Herbatint contains PPD (a darkening chemical known to provoke life threatening allergic reactions). PLEASE, do the suggested patch test before you put it on your head. If you are one of the many who are allergic, you will have red blisters, itching, hair falling out, and if you're unlucky, throat and or whole-body swelling.    

Alternatively, use a black dye that does not contain PPD (p-Phenylenediamine) or any other "-amine" ending chemicals (they're the same thing).
