Hi all,

I was shopping for wigs yesterday with a friend of mine and went to several stores here in Dallas where you can try on wigs.  One of the stores we went into had the strongest chemical odor that I have ever smelled.

In fact, the odor was so strong that it hurt our heads to the point we left after 5 minutes and didn't try on anything. 

The chemical odor was almost like a type of acetone except it wasn't acetone.

Does anyone know what they might have been and what causes that?

Its possible they had a lot of cheap synthetic wigs which would give off gasses and smell bad?
