QuoteReplyTopic: bob with short AND long bangs? Posted: January 12 2012 at 10:09am
i've seen some bobs with a section of the bangs cut short (by the part) but with the rest of the bangs longer and almost overlapping part of the short bangs. is there a name for this bang - style and would anyone have pictures of this type of cut? i've attached a picture of what i'm talking about. any other similar pictures would be very appreciated - as well as a name for this style of bangs-- thanks!
I have actually given this style several times and it works great with a side swept bob. Pictures are ALWAYS good to bring your stylist to make sure you are both on the same page. Here are a few I found but not exactly wat you are looking for. LOVE THAT STYLE!!!

thanks for the photos! it's for my wife- what's a side swept bob? she has a short bob- about lip lenght - just below earlobes, buzzed nape - i think a partial short/long fringe with 'overlap' long hair would look great - or an angled fringe. what'd you think?

Side swept just means it is a side part instead of a middle part. With the cut you described, that sounds about right for this cut. Again, I can't emphasize enough that taking pictures (the more, the better) to show exactly what you want.
