Some say braids are good for retaining length, since mine not putting heat on my hair. The only thing  is the reason i started my hair care journey was because a bad set of braids made my hair shed like crazy!! So i was thinking, do i need to put myself through that again? The girl who braided the first time braided tight and the braids were long and heavy on my head. I met a braider who has nice work and doesnt braid tight. Should i go through with it?
