Ok so my natural hair color is a level 2. I'm trying to go about 2 levels lighter but I always end up with a redish tone. I've tried ash and cool tones in all kinds of diferent brands and the best one so far is color charm light brown intense ash. But I can still see the red in the sun and in bright light. I've tried all kinds of additives like "unread", "gold corrector", intensifiers, but I only end up with a burgundy-ish tone. I want neutral!!! I'm out of ideas. Red is pretty, but now I want something different. Please help me!!!! =( someone has to have a trick out there!!!!
you should try eSalon dye!! You can talk to the colorist and she like formulates a dye for your specific hair and color and everything. I had so much trouble finding a shade that wouldn't get brassy but I told the esalon people I didn't want brassiness and they fixed my dye so it would be right. definitely recommend it!! And my hair is sooooo soft! :)
