Hi all!

I've had my share of fun hair colors.  I believe I've hit every color of the rainbow at some point, except for yellow.  However, the time eventually came for me to grow up and get a job so I could pay for my car, gas, insurance, etc. I love where I work now, but I'd trade anything to have pink hair again.  It just makes me happy, and fits my personality so much better than brown, blonde, or red ever could.  Does anyone know of any places that would hire someone with an unnatural hair color? It would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,
Do you think your current company would let you have pink hair now?  It's become very mainstream and fashion forward.

If not, what about clip in pink strands to pop on for evenings and weekends?

Love your fun hair color ideas.  Thanks for sharing.

That’s a tricky one because it really depends on the people who are doing the hiring, what kind of company it is, personal opinions of the interviewer, how conservative the company is and the office dress code and policy.

Some employers do not mind their employees to dye their hair, have piercings or tattoos, on the other hand you could come across someone who just does not like it, it could be their personal opinion or a certain look may not be deemed professional by the company.

If you are concerned about it you could try jobs that do not require you to be there in person, such as customer service call centers or work from home jobs. You may be able to find some restaurants that are willing to hire people who are a bit more creative. But don`t let your hair color limit you from applying for the jobs you really want, if you are skilled and  confident that you can do the job apply anyway, you never know just how flexible an employer will be until you try.

Good luck.

Look around for other people with similar hair color and ask where they work. I'm thinking businesses that deal with fashion would be more progressive that way-- probably even some stores.

It depends where you work, doll. If you work in a very creative friendly environment like a hair salon, maybe that would be best place to seek a job?

Have you ever had any interest in going to cosmetology school? Your love for pink hair will certainly be welcomed, if not encouraged there! Good luck!

Hot Topic in the mall, Costume stores, I mean lots a mall stores will hire you even with a rainbow hair color. It helps as well the area you live in like cali and veas anything can go most places. Smaller places you may want to consider a place that is not face to face customer service such as call centers. Im not sure the field your interested in but that is a couple ideas. What field would you prefer to stay in?
