I had keratin bonded hair extensions since June and I had them out today.

My hair was thin before extensions but not as much as they are now. I've realised how much hair loss I've had. Just want some piece of mind that my hair loss isn't permanent (how do I know?).
Will the hair get back to its normal thickness before I had hair extensions? How long will it take?

I'm also worried my boyfriend won't find me attractive either, not that he's the type of guy to break up with me over that..

Well first make sure that the hair loss was caused by the extensions as opposed to a medical condition. Hair loss can be caused by many factors and if this is something that is troubling you then you should seek a professional opinion. If the loss is indeed caused by the extensions and you are a healthy individual with a healthy diet, no ailments or on any medication that can cause hair loss then your hair should grow back. In the meantime make sure to be gentile with your hair and use non damaging products. I would also stay away from heat, chemicals and hair dyes until your hair has a chance to recuperate.

Many people experience self esteem issues when they feel negatively about their appearance, and usually when you experience a situation that makes you question your attractiveness it leads you to believe that other people will see you how you see yourself. You have to realize that not all the characteristics that you see as flaws are necessarily seen so evidently by other people. If your boyfriend cares about you and values your relationship then he will stick by you until you sort out your hair issues. Right now it is important to focus on you and finding out what the root cause of your hair loss is so you can figure out what to do next and begin to feel better about yourself. Everyone experiences setbacks in life to some degree, try to stay hopeful and not let it stress you out which could be counterproductive to your hair loss.

Good Luck.
