Too Short?

I was thinking about maybe trying to be in a hairshow but decided against it. I want full control over my style. I was thinking about a cut like this.

The thing is, I had this cut before and wanted to go shorter. So, I was thinking of buzzing the nape and sides to a quarter inch or less. I can't find any pics of that look. If I do hat, and keep it the length on top of that look, will it be to short or just right?

I think it'll look just right if you go for the cut in the picture; it's awesome!
