>>He seemed to take pleasure in making her uglyBeauty is in the eye of the beholder. What if Genni were reading this board? Would you feel good knowing that she read words that said she is *ugly*!?
>You> butchered her, your a cold hearted butcher who took> away her femininity,So femininity is *only* about hair? What about the bald ladies in certain African tribes who seem perfectly capable of giving birth and nursing their babies? What if your wife or girlfriend had cancer and her treatment caused all her hair to fall out? Imagine how she'd feel if you said she lost her femininity.Your remarks are far more cold-hearted than anything Brian did.

There is one fact: By your words, she is "quite masculine" simply by the absence of long hair. For someone who depends solely on hair to make a woman look feminine, you may be in for a heartbreaking, terrible shock one day if you ever lose yours to illness.
Thank you, Diane!!! I absolutely love long hair, and I'm working on growing my fine hair mid back length. I think it takes patience and TLC to maintain long locks on any type of hair, whether it's thick and curly or fine and straight. It's nice to hear support for us fine haired ladies!Shell> Where did you get that information Mark?> It doesn't apply to me as I have thick long hair but> just because a woman has fine hair it doesn't limit> her to having long hair.

It is true, Jena; you don't know my history and exactly why I said what I said. I do think the style makes her look more masculine. It's my opinion. However, that is not the sole reason for a woman to appear so, but this isn't the place to discuss all of that, as it's a hair board, and for brevity's sake, I stopped there.Jennifer Eve

I concur, Brandy!! I'm over 50 myself.OM***********************************************************> As an older woman, with long hair, (who doesn't give a> "rat's patoot" if the rest of the world> thinks that reaching one's 35th, or 40th, or 50th> birthday should automatically earn a trip to the> haircutters..), I fail to see that the butchery of> this young lady's hair is something to brag about.> I hope it's what she wanted...
