Hello!
IN two weeks i have my matric dance/prom and i have decided to have it down to balance out my dress. my hair is shoulder length, brown, thin and dead straight. I don't have a very exciting haircut - just a slightly layered fringe. I think i might curl the ends but my curls usually fall out after a few hours yet i don't want to be plastered with lots of wet looking gel. Any ideas??? I would love to know how to keep them in or if you have any better suggestions!
this doesn't always work, and DEFINITELY try it before the dance, but it works GREAT for me...the curls last about the whole day...sometimes part of the next...the night befor you want it to be curly, get your hair damp and put some hairspray or gel(optional, you dont have to) in. Take strips of rags, or socks, or curlers made for this, and (if using rags)lay a rag horizontally...hold it that way... take a section of hair(size according to the size you want the curl)and put it on the rag, fold it like you would an envelope and twist it up, wrapping the hair around the rag. Tie the ends of the rag together, and continue until you've done your whole head. socks (CLEAN)are pretty much the same, but instead of tying it, you take the open end and "swallow" the remaining sock and hair. The more rags, socks, or curlers, the tighter the curls.sleep in it, it may be uncomfortable, but it's worth it... Like I said before DEFINITELY TRY THIS BEFORE THE DANCE for it may not work out right...if it doesn't just shampoo your hair and it will come out. Email me w/ results PS...if you comb it out w/ a comb it may turn into a frizball...try using less curls and take them apart w/ your fingers to make a perm look.water might help... Lalaland
