QuoteReplyTopic: Encouragment needed! Posted: August 15 2003 at 1:50pm
Hello, I haven''''t posted in a wile, my hairs still at that insidious hang-around-the-shoulders length. When I was little I was sure that when I grew older, I would grow my hair as long as it would go. Keeping mind I had no say over the length of my hair. Yet some were along the trial of life I changed. I started to like shorter hair. Then for a pierod acting piece I grew out my hair. Then later cut it. Then I agreed to grow it out agen for my husband, it sound like a fun adventure, you know. You all made it sound so worth wile. But I''''m starting to waiver. I have beautiful soft golden brown hair. In fantastic condition! Please help me stay on this path insead of vearing straight into the nearest salon.
Thanks, Juliet (Jillynn)

Dear Jillynn, don´t grow out your hair for anyone but yourself. It is a chore, for sure, and the length you have now is trying. But with every new inch, it changes and I personally find it interesting how it changes me, or the way people percieve me. Basically, life is about more than how you look. For me, I just would decide on a good transitional hairstyle, a ponytail or a braid or whatever, and then try to focus on other things for a while.
If you really want it long once in your life, than you will, but only when you´re ready. Most important: don´t go to the hairdresser when you´re down about it! That, you´ll regret.

Your hair is unique to you and a part of the beauty of your being.
I encourage you to fully experience the mystery of that beauty by letting your hair fulfil the length that it strives to attain as part of Nature's plan.
May your hair grow ever longer and reveal it's full loveliness in the course of time.
Beaming Blessings,
Uzi

Wise and inspiring words have been offered, which I cannot and will not attempt to top. Feel free to share your thoughts these days on the subject, whatever they may be. If you want more or less encouragement, just say so.
