i am trying to get this look and i was wondering if I can get some advice
i have basically the same type of my hair, and my hair is about 4.5-5 inches long, (shaved it all then grew it out so its all even) but the look i have is basically parted but a little messy,what i want to know is how to style it like in the picture.
Hey! I used to style my brothers hair just like this pic. i would get some really good gel, BedHead has some really good ones. Get the one that has good hold. Then drop some on the palm of your hands rub together and distribute throughout wet (not too wet)hair. Blow dry with head upside down using only your hands - no brush. As you blow dry grab the hair and scrunch it - that creates the great waves. When it is almost dry, flip over and keep scrunching it with the blowdryer set on low until it is dry. The use a comb to arrange.
On days that you have no time, put the gel onto damp hair and scrunch while you drive/walk/ride to work/school/whereever. It is almost as good.
Is this a picture of yourself? Or of somebody else? If it's you, just do what you did in the first place to get the look. Sorry... I can't offer any useful advice.
