Needs help with brassy red gold orange tones!!!

I dyed my hair a dark brown red at a salon a month ago, ended up having too much red so i went back and they lightened it but couldnt remove the red completely. Since then its turned a brassy red and gold orange especially in the sun!!! i dyed it dark brown but that only made the red hide and after a few washes it came back.

What id like to know is if i dye my hair a dark blue black color, will it cover up the brassiness and also when the black fades will the brassiness come back?

i just dont feel beautiful anymore and want to do anything to remove this brassiness... My hair is still in great condition too since i have no split ends and it isnt too dry, so bleaching is not an option.
