Quick question:::

Is it okay((or does it help at all?)) to put regular conditioner on dry hair? If I'm not going anywhere, can I just put some conditioner on my hair while its dry to help it? Does that help? Or do I have to use a special conditioner?

If my hair feels toasted at the ends, I spritz some water on with a water spray and put a little intensive conditioner on it before I go to bed. In the morning I rinse it out and let it dry naturally before I brush it. I don't know if this is okay to do this, but it always feels nicer.

Anyone else know the answer?

Hi Liv,

Several years ago I used to do this, glob conditioner onto dry hair in the evening, and rinse (then shampoo and condition again) in the morning. At the time I felt this was beneficial; can't explain why I discontinued the process. Anyway, my opinion is that doing as I described can't hurt. If you apply conditioner to dry hair and "go," whatever is left on may make combing more difficult and could "build-up," though neither result would itself be harmful.
