i have had to previous perms in the past and even though i havent had one for a while now, they still left permanent little kinks in my hair. i use a straightener because i want my hair to be REALLY straight. It works pretty well for getting the little curls out, but it doesnt make it as straight as i want it. are my expectations too high?? i have seen other girls w/ really straight hair but my hair just doesnt do it. is it my staightner? please help me!

if u want REALLLLLLY straight hair, try Japenese straigtening, its around 150-200 USdollars, its quite expensive, but last until it grows out, I have NUMBEROUS asain friends who has "straight hair" go and get this jap straight. It makes a BIG difference to how their hair look , texture and all, recommend it, highly too =]
