Rotten cores

In the high wilderness dance a symphony of lights
Approach and behold the twisting and spinning
Of shooting rays and luminescent beams
‘Tis long-haired Dawn, casting morn upon the world

Would that She would raise her beauteous head to meet
The face of toads in the undergrowth, frogs in the ponds
Slime sodden creatures who desire dark dampness

Would that She would heal their aspirations to cut the glory
Of Her children ~ gifted with myriad coloured
Streaming locks and snaking tendrils
Twining in finger-tips and tickling toes

And with one bright gaze pierce warty wishes
Of ChopdeToad and those who conspire
To divest us of our hair and desire
To grow and join the Dawn in Her light-weaving dance

One could get the impression that the troll is in reality a long hair lover who just wants to help remind others of their determination to avoid the chop?
