Hair extensions are a luxurious commodity any woman can have. These hair extensions possess the magic of changing your over all physical appeals, as the beauty lies in the hair style. If you want to preserve your precious accessory so that it radiates same beauty from you every time even after being used many times, then it must be looked after as demanded. These hair extensions do blend in your original hairs but keep in mind;”they are not your original hairs”. They are purchased and would cost you expensive if they are not handled properly.

Nowadays, the usage of hair extensions is in trend and many supporting hair products are also available in the market to preserve their shine and strength. Only in case of low quality, do these hair extensions not show the predicted results. But if the product is of quality like the ones we have in the “Hair Beauty Lounge” then we can guarantee their long lasting companionship with you. Now let’s begin with the preservation plan for your hair extensions:

Important Items Required

First, few important items should be in your bucket, these include:
o     pH balanced shampoo
o     pH balanced conditioner
o     separate towels
o     a wide tooth comb

How to Preserve Your Hair Extensions

Now just follow these simple steps, narrated below and have fun with your hair extensions for lengthier durations:

1.     It is advised to shampoo the hair extensions twice a month and conditioning once a month. This will keep it clean and free from any dust or dirt. The oil from your head or dust in your surroundings can cause it tangled and messy, unable to be brushed later.

2.     Keep your extensions hydrated. After every wash leave in conditioner to keep it moist until next use. This will keep it less prone towards getting frizzy and shedding and would keep it in perfect condition for long.

3.     Comb or brush your hair extensions gently with a wide tooth comb or brush. It is advised to do it twice a week, when not in use. As over brushing would lead to shedding of hairs from extensions. The combing should be done in downward motion. Start from bottom and gently move the comb upward, removing every tangle in its way. This method would prevent it from any kind of breakage, tangles and shedding.

4.     Use organic styling products, free from chemicals. This would maintain a protective layer over your extensions until next wash. Have a good amount of spray over your extensions whenever you go out and expose your head to the environment. It would protect it from any foreign residue and would keep your hairs intact.

5.     When not in use, keep your hair extensions in a cool and dry place, away from excess heat and moist.

6.     For removing hair extension, do consult your stylist. They have professional way of getting them off which would not lead to shedding. It will stay in the same shape for long.

7.     Try to avoid using chemicals as much as possible, as it cannot be deduced that which chemical is suitable or how it reacts on your extensions.

Hair extensions are a true way of blessing yourself with any elegant look you dream off. However, they demand maintenance to maintain their outlook for long. As any misuse or negligence could cost you more and you would be pushed to buy a new hair piece to fulfill your desire of looking good.

Hair Extensions become ratty once you start to wash them. If you want to clean them, it is best to search in Google for the right way. Only a few are around to give you the best possible suggestion.

Shampoo or conditioner will ruin them very quickly. Commonly extensions attached inside a clip, therefore it may fall out with time. Just avoid straightening and curling your extensions as much as you can. Do not heat them. Choose the best quality for long-lasting extensions.
