Hi, I'm a 17 year old latino woman with waist length hair.I'd like to get it cut short, but my old fashioned mothersays latino women should have long hair. Does this stereotype still exist and even if it does, how do Iconvince my mother to accept my wishes?

Maybe you could show her that you really love who you are and your culture and maybe she will see that it is not a big deal .
