Can someone help out a computer nerd with a problem? Here's the Data: My love of my life for the last 20 yrs. has greying long hair; 90% grey on the top, 30% grey at the waist. It was a deep black, typical of Middle East women. Here's the Problem: It dont bother me, but her friends gossip that she needs to do something. I smell a real carfight brewing here, if she finds out. Could some of you ladies make a suggestion: what do I tell her, or do I say nothing at all, and let the war begin? You men already know this will probably end up being my fault :)
>>Don't tell her because I learn lately when we try to do something nice it doesn't always work. It not worth being so nice at times.Personally I would start to wonder why the special man in my life is telling me this and is he hinting that I should do soemthing etc.You know what I mean? you would be opening a can of worms. Let her be angry with her friends.

In the computer world, we have a saying: If it works, dont fix it!! :)Any others? the vote is do nothing :1 make a fool of myself: 0

I suggest that you do nothing until a problem develops (say, one of her friends starts getting very pushy and it bothers her) and then take her side of the argument.> Yes, I kinda thought that would be the answer. Network Nerd,I'm still not clear on whether or not YOU like it.If you do like your wife's hair long, come to her defense: "I think Mrs. Nerd looks beautiful just the way she is."Ally

It kinda sets her apart. She was gonna cut it once, but changed her mind. I think it's the grey that they gossip about most.I think I know what do, sit back, do nothing, enjoy life with her the way it is. Until the catfight, that is.
I found out by accident. This group of her high school friends gets together once a month. The girls usually break off from us guys. The guys go downstairs, and watch a movie. The girls, well they do girl things upstairs. My Love comes downsairs, looking for the cell phone, wants to call home and check on Jr. nerd. I go upstairs while she talks to Jr. to get drinks for us dudes. I hear it in the living room. Her friends all have treated, fake colored hair, so I hear, "when is she going to something " was probably about her.
I agree with Diane. They may never have the gumption to say anything to her face, NN. If they do, though, I think it falls on you to come to her defense. Let them envy her adoring husband, if not her hairstyle.Ally
Good call, I don;'t know how they put up with each other! It's an unwritten rule betwwen them: If one don't show for a gathering, you know they are going to get pounded on. Some of them have known each other for more than 30 yrs. Maybe that's too long? But if they quit getting together, I guess us guys will have to make excuses to our dears, and meet at the bowling alley, or something. We have a great time watching "B"movies, and drinking fine brew, while they gossip. Thanks for the input, gals!By the way, My most wonderful love will NOT hear from me anything about her appearance, unless she asks. I know good advice when I see it.

> As an attourney, I have noticed there are some prenuptial agreements before marriage, which the men have the future brides, sign an legal written agreement, stating that alady will have a long hair style, which will be keptby the lady,as long as the husband desires. There are moremen in the United States, requiring long hair ,in written prenuptial agreements on ladies, thru out the marriage. The future bride is asked to sign an agreement,in which she agrees to have long hair,as requested by the husband. Many men are inserting long hair as a requirement forthe future brides. The bride who signs the long hairrequirement,is signing a valid written contract, whichcan be enforced in court, and faliure for the lady tokeep long hair, can be a ground for divorce. Ladiesbeware when sign a written agreement to have long hair
