QuoteReplyTopic: Where are all the long hair men hanging out? Posted: December 25 2003 at 12:46pm
Been in the dating scene for a while now and I can't believe that all the men that I have come across that some don't have long hair. Men over here think if their hair touch their shoulder than its long hair. That is even rare. I find it very strange because I come across a lot of people each week and I participate in many activities across the city and it seem rare.
I was engaged to one that use to have long hair around his middle of his back but that was when he was a teanager. I have a natural path doctor that shown me a picture of himself when he was a musician and he was gorgeous with his long hair. I have a musician friend that told me that his hair was to his ankle once but he claims he has no pictures to prove this. He said that people were scared of him at the time. I think people are just scared of him because he hardly smiles and he is very good in martial arts.
I know this bowling male that has a pointy mustache and he is losing his hair but his ponytail is about the middle of his back and it's very thin. He always tells me that he loves my hair and we purposely pull each other hair when we see each other just for fun.
But when you think of it women with long hair is also rare but not as rare as the men. I have a data base of 500 names of single people and it just occured to me that I haven't come across a long hair man.

You can always check Montreal. While I won't say it's ethnic, I see a lot more people with long hair here (and now that I moved, I see it more) compared to say Ottawa or Toronto.
While I will not say it is possibly ethnic in difference, it might, you should remember that long hair was most often the rule in both french and quebec societies. (More than mullets/*coupe Longueuil*, it still hasn't died.) And real hair, unlike all the politicians of the anglophone colonies of past. Perfect whitey curly FAKE.
I am single, but 19, and a workaholic. Sorry to dissappoint :P
I hate all of the following and lots more : Fundamentalists, racists, sexists, fascists, ageists (people saying seniors = senile , kids = stupid , 18 = immature or a combo of them), and bigots for causes yet to receive their own designation.
(I'm 35 and was growing my hair out (reached ear-lobe length) - until I made the mistake of trying out a new hairstyle at the same time as getting a trim.

I guess things really change in Montreal. The last time I've been there was seven years ago. I had fun because I really had the chance to talk french all day long and I found it neat to read signs in the french language. I loved the old buildings and the nightlife there. Different mentality there. Truely enjoyed it. BAck then I didn't notice long hair men but of course things probably changed a lot since then. Thanks for sharing.
Metroman,
Thanks for the link to the webpage. I have had the chance to chat with Victor in the past on the computer. I was thinking more in my area. Thanks for helping.
I'm in Philadelphia USA, and I have long hair Im 27. I used to have mid back length, then cut it at the request of a hindeing girlfriend. would never do that again , now it's groiwng back about shoulder length.
