Good evening everybody! I have been a long time HB forum reader, but I've never posted. I love reading the stories from all of you about how you've been growing out your hair, the joys and frustrations. Well, I've been there. I've been growing my hair out from really short and layered (started about a little over a year ago) to where it is now. It's all one length, the front is about an inch past my chin and it gets longer toward the back (2 inches past the chin). So, it's not long yet, but the fact that I finally got it to be all one length is wonderful for me! Now, I can just let it grow without all of the annoying layers. But, I can't wait until it's a bit longer so it stays behind my back and won't fall forward anymore. And, I have very healthy straight hair. I'm never cutting it short again!!!

Hi Dave! Thank you for the welcome! NH-Reenie? No, that's not me. Actually, my name is Katherine and back in high school I had a friend that called me Kathereenie and Reenie took as a bit of a nickname. I'm actually a bit suprised that someone else goes by that name. I'm looking forward to being a part of the boards.

Oh, the length I'm hoping to achieve is between shoulder length and bra strap length. For me that will be plenty long. But, I'm setting smaller goals in the mean time. My first goal is collar bone, then I'll move for another few inches. It makes it easier that way.
