hummm wonder if some of it touches fantasy

Today on Maury he had a few guest. Six participants cut their hair.
Laura had long hair down to her knees and her husband really wanted it short so he cut it on the show.

LIsa had long hair but hubby begged her time to time to really cut it and he did on the show.

Jodie and her mom Sharon had very long hair. Jodie wouldn`t cut hers unless mom did to. Jodie cut her mother hair very short but when it came to her mother cutting her daughter hair she was crying so her Jodie`s dad had to cut her hair.

Another Sharon had waist length hair and her son wanted it short because he worried about his mom when she is on duty. She is a cop. So the son had the honor of cutting his mother`s hair.

MIke had very long hair and his daughter hated it. His hair was so thick that they had a tough time cutting it. Meanwhile his wife was crying and they asked her if they should continue.

All participants looks very nice with their new styles. I understand the children`t fears or whatever. I wonder about the husband if it didn`t play on a fantasy?

Wow! I really woulda liked to see that show... hope they repeat it!!

the different thing is that it happened in public as an entertainment event for the big TV majority. It seems to be of public interest to look at cuts of very long hair and the longhairs have to satisfy this requests.

It hurts me, why I appreciate the beauty of the very long hair. For many years I looked for it and only on very few days I had a chance to see it, and it maked me happy. This shows only present beautiful long hair to destroy it, I wonder if this is not a characteristic of our civilisation in general respective natural beauty.

The participants of the hair cuts satisfy the opinion that long hair has to be cut and is out of date, or have you ever heard any defends for it? I know individually from my own longer hair that it can give a lot of joy. For me it makes no sense that the participants of this show cut it off to please their relatives.

Why didn`t this one accept the individual preferences of their longhairs? A child needs parents who show how it is possible to manage the life and who give an example that life is worthfull, but they also have to respect the individuality of their parents. I think the only way that people can live together in a reasonable way is that they respect different preferences and do not try to change others after their own opinion. Otherwise the result has more to do with to be a slave of someone else.

I don`t understand that hair is handled in this shows without any respect, like it`s destiny is to be changed to garbage. If someone would work some years on a material creation maybe of the Empire State Building everyone would appreciate it and he never would get applause in a public show if he will destroy it there.

I think long hair if it is attached to a woman is not a product that can be sold although it has the potential of individual richness. So it contradicts the goals of capitalism. But also the communists have problems with it, as long hair gives too much individuality to their members.

So I don`t know if long hair has any future, but I belong to the people who really will miss it.

Phil, I don`t know if you understand what this hair can give. If not it is very easy to relativate this events to something that can be considered with distance. I love the beauty of very long hair and they can give nothing for me that can replace it, with this hair cuts they cut my feelings. I don`t think that any instinct that could appear should be cultivated or tolerated, at least I explain my opposition. Why should I have interest in the "real documentary about the nature of hair" if that what I like about it will be cut off?
