I just got a hair cut about two weeks ago. I got about five inches chopped off because I wanted to cut off the damaged ends before I start to grow my hair. Yesterday, I had an urge to straighten my hair with an iron. Afterwards, I noticed A LOT of split ends and breakage - pointy ends. I REALLY don't want to cut my hair again because it's really short and falls in my face a lot . If I get a trim, the chances are my ends will split withing a few weeks. What should I do? Have you heard of this thing called the Split Ender? It's suppose to cut of an eighth of a centimeter of hair ends and it doesn't change your hair cut. It's about $80 I think. Do you think it's a good investment? tnx
I love you~!!!!!!!!

Hi "sexypineapples"

Interesting nickname

I've never tried the split-ender but I've heard mixed reviews - mostly negative.

Are you growing out previously-applied haircolor? Or maybe your hair was last trimmed with dull scissors? If your hair is long enough that you can see the ends, you may want to consider searching for and trimming individual split-ends with a pair of sharp scissors (this method also described as "dusting"). Maybe your hair is actually in better condition than you feel it is. Otherwise, I'd suggest just continue to treat your hair with care.

Hope this helps -- hang in there!
