Ok ...
I`ve been sportin` center parting hair for at least 3-4 yrs now and i wanna cut it short ... to get da "Short Waxed Look" ... My hair is long and i don`t mind but it`s gettin` monotanous ... I`m scared dat if i cut it bad, i mite look like a faggot and i wouldn`t be comfortable wit myself ...
My question is ...
Does da "Short Waxed Look" suit EVERYBODY? ...
Can it look good on everybody? ...

My hair has been long, parted in the middle for quit awhile... then my college budies decided to bleach their hair. Well I just went in and got my hair chopped to the new "shorter" syle.... it killed me to see all my hair go but the new style, (i got my 1"1/4) thinned it and made it look real messy, i think I can get used to this, much easier and although at first I thought it made me look retarded, after a few days it started looking great!

Hi RedHairDiva,

I don`t know how popular our opinions will be here, but I very much agree!

First of all, I think anyone should wear his hair the way he likes it best. But personally, I find a guy with extremely short hair, well, extremely sexy! I personally like opposites -- a woman with long hair paired with a man who wears short hair. I just think it more easily emphasizes the gender-specific traits in each.

Guys who are bald or wear flattops or crewcuts? My absolute favorite look on guys! The good news is that the shorter the haircut on a man, the more it will help disguise any receeding hairline he may be experiencing.

You should go with the trendy bed-head look Ryan speaks of. I recently switched from the spiky-bangs look to this and I love it. It did look stupid at first because the guy who cut it sorta screwed it up, but after a few days I started to like it.

my experience tells me that short hair might favours some people while long hair might favor other people, and yes if you have long hair and cut it short you might look like a mygot or you might look better.
i had short hair all my life and i`m letting it grow and i really look better. but again i`ve seen guys with long hair who sudenly cut it short and after being good looking all their lives, suddenly become ugly.

you have to consider the size of your ears, how close if they are bit or if they are a little separated from your skull then you could look very bad. (my ears are separated, now is not noticeable with long hair). specially they look bad from a backangle if short.

the size and shape of your head could look bad with short hair too, if the back of your head looks like an alien`s then you will look bad with short hair.

if your forehead is too big, then you will look bad with short hair.

as you can see having long hair covers all the "defects", and is something you can`t do with short hair, but if you don`t have these "defects" then you might look better.
