I`m currently in my hockey season and I don`t believe in cutting my hair until the season is over for superstitious reasons. I really am trying to achieve the shaggy flow look.
Right now my hair is:
-realy long (bout 6 or so inches at the back)
-covering the ears
-starting to cover up over my eyes
-straight
-thick
-asian hair.

Its too straight and im frustrated with it!
What should I do? get a perm? i`m a bit hesitant because it`ll look a bit unnatural and a big drastic change.

Anybody know how i can get the shaggy/buckin look?

if u do please help.. any advice would help out, thanks!

well first get a trim....then ask your stylist for advice...that is the best advice...my hair is starting to get like yours...i need a cut first...then I decide!

I had the same problem. During football season I decided not to cut my hair. The only problem was i hadn`t for about 3 months before hand. So my hair got a little long. Right in the middle of it all i opted to cut my hair. It is better to throw superstition out the window and lob it off. I kept mine about four inches on the sides. and not super long in the back. i have asian hair like you too and I have trouble sometimes because I have thick hair.

You don`t need a perm, you need a hair cut . You can still ware your hair very long . You need lots of different layers. That will give you a shaggy look, this last`s forever without getting in your way and still looks very long. It works really well on asian hair just don`t have the layers short or it will stick up, on less you want it to stick up.If you do this next time you can go much longer without getting a haircut.

I think that it`s awesome to not cut your hair for the team! Since no one else has really answered your question, I`ll try. I think that you should scrunch your hair. First you should wash your hair, but don`t use conditioner. Then spray in a light leave in conditioner to help with tangles. Next, use a little texturing lotion or gel and work it through your hair. Finish it off with Aussie`s Sprunch Spray, which is a hair spray that you scrunch. Hope this helped. If you need any help with the instructions, email me.
