Does anyone, know of any haircut ideas / suggestions, such as for maybe a wedge cut, tapered back or short back cut whilst still leaving longer or longish layers on top.
I like the longer lengths over the top, but am wanting to cut the back. I have no idea on what style or cut to ask for.
Comments or pix (links) would be appreciated.

I think that keeping long bangs but short hair all over is a great style. Let the length of the bangs blend in to the short hair gradually toward the ears. You can slick back the bangs for a short look, or let them fall naturally. keep your bangs about 6" - 8" long, and cut the rest of your hair 1" - 2"or so. Leaving some hair long while cutting the rest short will be a very enjoyable and attractive style, and is very much in style these days..
