Basically, my friend (licensed cosmetolgist) straightened my hair yesterday. But I didn''t protect my scalp with petrolium and resulted in burns/red irratation on my scalp and even got a burn on my face. Is this stuff gonna go away, or do I need to get medicine or medical attention???

yes it will sting and burn a few days.

hmm a licensed cosmotologist and that person burnt you???
well i am not a licensed cosmotologist nor a hairdresser but of like 10 people i had their hair straight, none got burned.
ARGHH
