I'm white and my hair is about 2-3 inches long and it's curling up in the back and on the sides a lil bit now. I've had the same haircut for a long time now and I'm looking for a change. Currently, I don't use any kind of gel or anything like that, I just do it all natural and comb it straight. I don't want to start using gel either, so I was looking for some ideas because using gel is the only idea I got from other people, but everybody already does that, and I don't wanna be just like everyone else. Use resetting wax/pomade. This stuff work great so you can have them at any strenth according to the style that you want. It doest make your hari hard or stiff but it hold them together
I thinks you are a great candidate for the messy type of hair. It looks natural.
